Guildwood Cat Relief is a small, private network of foster homes that work together to find loving, permanent homes for cats and kittens in need.
Our kitties come from east Scarborough and further afield and include many that have been abandoned or surrendered due to their owner's illness, allergies, loss of housing or financial crisis. Some are young and some are old; some are healthy and some need restorative veterinary care.
Eloise and Eamon are a brother-sister duo looking for a new forever home. Families that are willing to take a bonded pair are hard to find. A bonded pair is not as expensive as one might think. Please consider adopting a pair for twice the love.

I’m a born cuddlebug! I’m a big guy and I have a very cute tiny-kitten meow I use to winning effect when I come up to you and ask you to pet me. I’m a total people kitty; although I tolerate other cats, my idea of a good life is sleeping on your bed, licking your hand gently and being told I’m your one-and-only. Since I’m observant and very smart, I feel that I’m particularly well-suited to help you get through your day, hanging out with you while you work at your desk. To sum things up, I guess I’d like to have the dignified status of family kitty once again, so I can enjoy greeting your friends and relatives when they come to visit.

I’m an intelligent, sweet-natured guy, outgoing and social, who likes to give you very delicate kisses to say "good night" before sleeping on that extra pillow you got me. I love being the centre of attention with my humans and tend to relish a nice energetic play session with them. I'm also pleased to say that I'm a cupboard connoisseur, and have even mastered the technique needed to squeeze myself into the smallest of boxes or shopping bags. Affectionate, curious, I'm a born companion who likes to hang out where you are.

I’m a happy-go-lucky, affectionate young cuddlebug with a black almost-goatee under my lip who never has a bad day and is always sunny and sociable. Although I tolerate other cats, my real thing is humans. I enjoy hanging out with them and often try to be helpful, maybe by sitting on their pillow as they try to make the bed. A relaxed guy, I can often be found upside-down, legs in the air, napping on a comfortable chair in the afternoon, and curled faithfully on the bed at night. I would really like to be a family pet, since that would give me the multiple social contacts I love.

A bonded pair of sisters, both of us have been with humans (including kids) and a dog since birth. We are truly loving and cuddly. Trusting by nature, we purr and knead at the drop of a hat. You can find us napping with each other in the afternoon or sometimes engaging in a fun game of foosball. We definitely plan on sleeping on your bed at night too.

I’m an affectionate, sensitive boy who loves to be fussed over. I’m also playful and active and don’t need much encouraging to jump for that feathery thing dangling from your wand (I’m a pretty good aim). I have my curious moments and my independent moments, but my relationships are the thing that really matters to me. I like my humans a lot but I have to go with my sister Eloise.
Eloise
I’m a sweet, wide-eyed little girl who loves to be petted and has a playful, tomboyish side as well. I’m also a smart cookie, so I enjoy sitting at one end of your desk and doing my part to help you as you work. For now, my aims in life include sleeping on your bed, meeting your friends, and if I’m lucky, finding a forever home wit my brother Eamon.

I'm a calm, intelligent girl, affectionate and quiet, happy to be around my humans and in your vicinity when you're at your desk. I love pets and human attention - and react by purring pretty quickly - but I'm also considerate and only ask for attention when I see you're available. I like my buddy Martin because he's considerate too and a gentleman.

I'm a loving, trusting, smallish boy who accepts all cats and all nice humans. I just love pets! I also like to play with rolling objects and have been known to engage in rugby when a few pals are up for it. I guess my easy-going, sunny temperament must have impressed Juliet because she likes me. We sleep together and groom each other.

Alban & Justus, Carrick & Brodie are bonded brother duos!
We were found outside as kittens & took a while to trust people. In our current foster home, though we have blossomed into great guys with unique personalities! We love to play, lounge in the sunlight, and take in the window sights & scents.
We eat everything - and get rambunctious for catnip. We enjoy the tickle-routines we've set up with our foster humans, especially rise-and-shine and mealtimes when we ceaselessly weave for strokes. We love novelty – exploring anything new our humans bring into our world, even green beans, zip ties, & paper bags are fun toys!
