Guildwood Cat Relief

Guildwood Cat Relief is a small, private network of foster homes that work together to find loving, permanent homes for cats and kittens in need.

Our kitties come from east Scarborough and further afield and include many that have been abandoned or surrendered due to their owner's illness, allergies, loss of housing or financial crisis. Some are young and some are old; some are healthy and some need restorative veterinary care.

Update: January 12, 2021

The province of Ontario will be entering its second state-of-emergency regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Guildwood Cat Relief will be making the following temporary changes:

1. Adoptions, Foster-to-Adopt, and Fostering
Please note: We are still accepting applications, but will not be delivering cats to their new homes/placements until Ontario's Stay-at-Home order is lifted. Since we bring all our kitties personally in order to help them get accustomed to their new surroundings and humans, we have no choice but to pause adoption activities. If you are willing to wait, please feel free to fill out an application.

2. Volunteer and Cat Care Staff
Guildwood Cat Relief is still unable to accept any new volunteers at this time. We will be looking for volunteers in the near future. We are only having a small number of staff on the premises. Don't worry, the care given to our kitties has not decreased in any way. They are still spoiled rotten!

3. Intakes and Emergency Assistance
Guildwood Cat Relief is still open for all intakes at this time with added measures in place for the current pandemic. If you need assistance please email us, or message us on Facebook.

We hope everyone stays safe during this difficult time.
